The Truth About

(Estimated reading time is 1-Minute and worth every second)

TeethNow Dental Implants are the newest breed in implant technology. Dentistry by Dr. Kaplansky uses TeethNow Dental Implants to replace multiple missing teeth. TeethNow Dental Implants can even be used to replace a full arch of teeth often in as little as one short visit – completely transforming a patient’s smile from that day forward.

This is how other (Denture Temps) dental clinics operate

The day of your dental implant surgery, after you’ve been sedated for 4 or 5 hours, the dreaded "denture conversion" begins. The dentist will then place a basic acrylic denture (The temps) in your mouth.

Other clinics use a temporary set of dentures similar to the ones in the picture below. You can see how these large dentures with their bulky shape can cause people who get temporary teeth to have trouble eating and speaking, making it just as embarrassing as having missing teeth.

After surgery, big holes are drilled in the dentures to make them fit over the implants. Dentures than filled with liquid plastic and placed in your mouth. Everything gets mixed together saliva, liquid plastic, and blood, leaving a huge mess and making temp dentures difficult to clean and structurally weak (they often break).

You can't fit these dentures perfectly because it's all guesswork. When it comes to dental implants, precision is key!

Just look at how they turn these temporary dentures into "teeth in a day".

You can see where they just drilled holes into the ordinary denture.

This is not the way this treatment should go for anybody, and unfortunately, it gets worse!

When "Teeth in a day"

Is More Like "Teeth In a YEAR"

It may be necessary to go back for an additional 8-10 or more appointments to try on teeth, verifying they will fit. This process can take 6-8 months or more depending on how good/busy their local dental lab is.

Your new “Teeth In A Day” has now turned into 10-12 months or more to get your permanent set.

So What Should You Do?

Choose Dr. Kaplansky For Your Custom Permanent TeethNow!

How we do it is very simple...

During surgery, Dr. Kaplansky personally will place dental implants in their predetermined place in your mouth. All this is based on a 3D digital plan created from your pre surgery CAT scan. These implants will act as anchors for your new teeth. After the implants are in place, we will take more digital scans of your mouth and they will be used to design your new “healing” teeth.

The next day, you will return to the office to have your healing teeth placed on the implants. The attachment process takes about 15-20 minutes. Once the healing teeth are in place, you will wear them until you heal. This is necessary because the tissue shrinks during healing. After around 3 months, your gum tissue will reach its final contours and you will be able to receive your permanent teeth.

If you've ever had a tooth pulled, or had any kind of surgery, you know that the area can swell up afterwards. Some dentists will place FINAL teeth on the implant right away, before the swelling has gone down, this can cause problems down the road. If permanent teeth are attached while the area is still swollen and gum not fully healed, in a few months you will have a gap between gum and teeth. This can cause serious problems with trapping food there, speech problems and foul odor and even pain and gum infections leading to implant loss, and may even require additional surgery to fix. So, if your dentist offers to place your PERMANENT teeth before the swelling has gone down, you may want to think twice before saying yes.

In our practice the patient will see the dentist every month for the next 3 months to make sure no implants are loose, to prevent infection etc. At the 3-month period we perform a digital scan and design the final well adapted implant prosthetic.

After 3-4 month of healing we start to design a final permanent prosthetic. We show the patient a prototype and once it is approved, it takes about a month to receive the permanent teeth. The whole process takes about 4.5 - 5 months. This is the most state of the art and safe process for implants. Other dentists drill the regular denture and fill it with liquid plastic as a temp or screw in permanent teeth right after surgery and not even wait for complete healing.  Our fully digital process is precise, controlled and predictable; and results in beautiful final teeth, which are stronger, high tech, and hygienic.

With just one procedure, TeethNow patients receive their healing teeth the next day. Their final appliance is made of strong and beautiful Zirconia. Unlike acrylic dentures, TeethNow full mouth implants are very hygienic and do not create odors or attract plaque or food. Patients can brush their teeth just like they’re used to and although TeethNow offers a permanent solution, your dentist can remove your appliances for maintenance if need be. Even patients with severe bone loss can be treated.

In just one day, you could be free from the physical pain and emotional trauma!

What are the perks of TeethNow permanent teeth replacement?

Perk # 1: The obvious first benefit of TeethNow is that it takes a 12-18 month process and condenses it down to as little as 4 months!  No painful bone grafting or sinus lifting, no going toothless until things heal.

Perk # 2: Immediately after your implant surgery, you can begin to eat soft foods, such as pasta, salmon, oatmeal, meatloaf, and so on.

If you can chop something up with a plastic fork, you can usually eat it 24 hours after your operation.

Perk # 3: The old way, in which regular dentures were drilled and made to fit over the implants and the whole process took up to 6-8 hours on surgery day, is no longer necessary.

Our technology allows us to digitally plan the procedure in advance and deliver your strong and hygienic healing teeth next day!

Perk # 4: Up to 7-12 visits may be eliminated with this procedure, which results in a quicker, less-invasive recovery period as compared to traditional dentures.

Denture wearers may endure up to nine months or more of having to speak with a bulky set of dentures, which makes everyday activities like talking difficult.

You will receive your permanent set of teeth in as little as 4 months, rather than having to wait an additional six months.

Perk # 5: Having TeethNow implants allows you to speak naturally.

In order to increase the strength of acrylic temporaries, more material is required.

This extra bulk can sometimes be burdensome for our patients.

Because we customize and implant our healing teeth in as little as 24 hours, we are an excellent choice.

We do not employ big, bulky temporaries.

Perk # 6: Your procedure is done from start to finish by one doctor in one location. No more traveling to multiple offices filling out redundant paperwork and waiting.

Perk # 7: Dr. Kaplansky will do every aspect of your treatment personally. Being

Board certified Dental Implantologist and Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology he is one of the most competent dental implant specialists in the world.
